About me
"Body is our temple and god is our soul"
Yoga is and always has been a big part of my life, but not always in the same format. I was first introduced to yoga (Western type of yoga) because of back pain in my teenage years. But I have always been interested in Buddhism and Eastern philosophies, which better guide us to inner selves and to our essence of being.
At the beginning of 2001, my journey took me to England, where I lived for 20 years. Yoga has always been my peaceful and happy place, even when I had to face difficult situations and challenges. The most recent one was in 2019 when I was diagnosed with cancer. That was the moment when I didn't accept medical help and instead I traveled to India and spent 5 weeks in the ashram where I accomplished the yoga teacher certification. But most importantly , I found the way to my soul, understanding of the beautiful and powerful energies that are in us and all around us, purifications, self-love and because of all that the self-healing began. This naturally led me to the essence of yoga and what yoga really means.
Yoga is not just an asanas as we know it, but a lifestyle that helps us achieve physical, mental and spiritual balance in our lives. I would like to share with you my experiences, stories and would like to pass them on to those who are open and want to learn more about the spiritual side and the incredible energy that we have inside us and all around us, and it can be awakened and connected by the practice of yoga.
I wish everyone a peaceful mind and soul
I look forward to meeting you Pavlina :-)
